Yesterday I oiled and put together the baby's crib. This wood crib was made by my Grandpa Shoaf for my mom when she was pregnant with me. I slept in it, all my siblings slept in, Gavin and Macey slept in it, and now this baby will too! It's a fun piece of our family history,and an absolutely gorgeous piece of workmanship by grandpa.

beautiful!! I have a family bassinet to use too, but it needs a little work. Can you elaborate and tell me what you did? (email or facebook preferably) Thanks!! Oh yeah, it's currently a dark wood that has knicks & dents in the wood. I'd maybe like to paint it??
