Halloween: the costumes and results

Landon's costume changed last minute,
and we ran out of white duck tape,
but he was still a super cute mummy anyway!

Xander's costume was by far my favorite. I even outlined the bones in glow-in-the-dark puffy paint. The glowing bones rocked! He thought he was so cool, and it was. ;) The top hat and bow came because he insisted he was a dancing skeleton. His little four year old silly dance was perfect. He is our family's little ham.

If I admitted Xander's was my favorite, I also have to admit I was disappointed with Gavin's. He wanted to be a T-rex, and I tried several times to get it right, but then I ran out of time. Oh well, at least he liked it and that's who I was doing it for. Next time though...

Tuesday we went Trunk or Treating with Grandma and Grandpa and then Wednesday we went trick or treating in our neighborhood (the first time ever!). It was so much fun. By the end, Landon was shoving his brothers out of the way and saying things like "me too!" and "want some!". Too funny. It's fun now that they enjoy the game of it all. And look at how much we came away with! Way too much. (We even passed out some of the candy from Tuesday on Wednesday!)

And last but not least, here we are. We enjoy getting in on the fun too! Ben especially enjoys having the chance to freak people out once a year with red eyes. Some of his co-workers can't even look him in the eye on Halloween because it creeps them out too much!

Happy Halloween!

Last Monday we carved pumpkins for family night. The boys actually helped more this year. Usually they hate touching the pumpkin guts! The big boys overcame the grossness and cleaned the pumpkins out. They also picked how they wanted their pumpkins to look, and helped carve. It was a fun evening.

And now you get to enjoy them to!
Landon.........Gavin...........Alexander
(who created which)

Have a fun and safe Halloween.
We're just hoping that Gavin is over the bug he got last night and no one else gets it...

The Party: Xander Edition

Party at Grandpa and Grandma's Saturday. They got him a t-ball set. He's been wanting one. Everyone got in on the baseball action.

Monday we had left over cake, and Xander opened his gift from us while my parents participated in the festivities over the webcam. Xander is my artsy one, so when we saw the easel we knew what he was getting for his birthday.

Xander's Turn...

Xander has been eagerly awaiting his birthday since Gavin had his. Today is finally the day! We had cake with Grandpa and Grandma yesterday, but we'll do another small celebration today. We saved our present for today, so he would have something to open on his birthday.

Family Photo Shoot 2012: Other Shots

The Mr. and Mrs.

My edits... I like them cropped in a little closer.

All of my boys.

Mommy and her boys.

Family Photo Shoot 2012: The Family

I've actually posted more of these whole family shots than I thought I would... I'm self-conscious about some of them, but I decided the rest of the family was too cute not to share them.

Natalie Snedaker did an A-MAZ-ING job. AND I loved doing them outside... it just adds so much.
Need a photographer in this area? Look her up. Great price for great photos.
