Halloween: the costumes and results

Landon's costume changed last minute,
and we ran out of white duck tape,
but he was still a super cute mummy anyway!

Xander's costume was by far my favorite. I even outlined the bones in glow-in-the-dark puffy paint. The glowing bones rocked! He thought he was so cool, and it was. ;) The top hat and bow came because he insisted he was a dancing skeleton. His little four year old silly dance was perfect. He is our family's little ham.

If I admitted Xander's was my favorite, I also have to admit I was disappointed with Gavin's. He wanted to be a T-rex, and I tried several times to get it right, but then I ran out of time. Oh well, at least he liked it and that's who I was doing it for. Next time though...

Tuesday we went Trunk or Treating with Grandma and Grandpa and then Wednesday we went trick or treating in our neighborhood (the first time ever!). It was so much fun. By the end, Landon was shoving his brothers out of the way and saying things like "me too!" and "want some!". Too funny. It's fun now that they enjoy the game of it all. And look at how much we came away with! Way too much. (We even passed out some of the candy from Tuesday on Wednesday!)

And last but not least, here we are. We enjoy getting in on the fun too! Ben especially enjoys having the chance to freak people out once a year with red eyes. Some of his co-workers can't even look him in the eye on Halloween because it creeps them out too much!
