A Match Made in Heaven

A week ago, Ben's parents had to add to their septic field... no fun. BUT to do so a backhoe had to brought in for part of the job... lots of fun, especially if your name is Gavin. It was cold that day, so we bundled the boys up and headed to Rexburg to see the "tractor." Gavin was in tractor heaven, and I think Jacob liked having an excuse to be able to climb in the backhoe too! Xander was more interested in the dirt than the backhoe, but it was fun that he fit in the bucket. Oh boys and their big toys!

Well, it happened...

Now it's just a matter of time before we see even more.
Here comes winter... ready or not!

Just like Grandpa

Gavin has already figured out that if a=b and b=c, then a=c...
I have such a smart boy! He found his hat in the toy basket and put it on, and his next question was "lawn mower?". Grandpa Kevin wears a hat when he works outside, and when the boys stayed for the week last month, Grandpa would give him lots of rides on the lawn mower. So now he asks Grandpa for lawn mower rides all the time, especially if he has a hat on.
SO if hat=outside and outside=lawn mower, then hat=lawn mower!
He wanted to be just like Grandpa Kevin.

Chillaxin'

I love my boys... but I look forward to nap/quiet time. My boys are the go, go, go type. Very little slows them down, but in the afternoons I try to get both to slow down for an hour or two. The other day before I put Xander down, they both decided to watch the movie I had put on for Gavin. It was so cute just to see them relaxing on the floor together as brothers.

And what more could be a more cozy than snuggling up to watch a good movie with your pillow and quilt and chewing on your favorite blanket! I don't think I'm the only one that likes this time of the day ;)

Is it bedtime yet?

between bath time and bedtime....



Needless to say, Ben and I are ready for the boys' bedtime
when 8 o'clock rolls around!
