Mischief

Most of the time I want the boys to go entertain themselves for a little while. Sometimes... I wish they hadn't entertained themselves quite so well!

Two in the Bed

Xander can now climb out of bed, so we converted his crib into a toddler bed. Though he doesn't usually fall asleep in bed right now because of his new found freedom. The other night, Ben went in to check on the boys before we went to bed and found these two snuggled up together in Gavin's bed. I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. They can be good little buddies when they choose to be!

All By Myself

While Ben was trying to get Gavin ready for church, he ran off. No big surprise... but he came back with a surprise. He went and found this winter coat (that's too little for him) and put it on all by himself... hence the upside down-ness of it!

Hogle Zoo

Before heading back to Idaho Falls on Saturday, we all headed to Hogle Zoo for a visit. We were a little skeptical of the weather at first, but it turned out to be a beautiful day to be at the zoo. The boys absolutely loved seeing all the animals. The baby elephant was absolutely adorable and one my favorite animals we saw. After a hour in the park, we enjoyed a yummy lunch in the parking lot, thanks to my sister, and then we headed back in for more sightseeing. We even rode the train after lunch. It was definitely a favorite for the boys... you could tell by the way they screamed their heads off when they had to leave the train behind! After exhausting our boys and enjoying all the animals, we loaded them up and headed for home. They were asleep in five minutes or less and sleep for a good chunk of the ride home, which is what we were hoping. It helps the car ride go so much smoother! It was a great weekend.

DinoROARS

My boys are very boy... and indeed LOVE dinosaurs and acting like ones. BYU's paleontology museum was a must see. It was small enough they could dart from one fascinating thing to another, but big enough to actually be fascinating. We're sure glad Thomas and Melissa discovered this little treasure. And what better than a (not so little) small cone from Macey's to top off the afternoon's adventure!

Provo Parks

This past Thursday evening we headed to Provo to visit Thomas, Melissa, Macey, and Henry. We enjoyed the few days we had together. My boys have become avid playground goers. They loved playing at the different parks Provo had to offer. AND we all loved being out in the beautiful weather.
